If you struggle with frizzy hair, and not just on the hot and humid days, don’t fret! There are many ways you can control the frizz with a few changes in your hair-style routine. Those who have frizzy hair may not be able to wash and go as easily as some can, but there are easy things to make getting out the door and looking great a reality.

The first step for helping you lose the frizzy look may be one of the easiest. Instead of washing your hair every day, skip a day or two in between. Frizzy hair generally does not get greasy, and stripping the natural oils out of your hair with daily washing may be a contributing factor to the frizz. Your hair may feel dirty to you, but it will not be noticeable to others.

Make sure that you are using a good shampoo and conditioner. By investing a little money in good hair care products, you will earn it back with fewer trips to the salon and extra products. Make sure to use conditioner every time you shampoo.

Every week or two, you may want to treat you r hair with a hot oil treatment. This will help replace the natural oils the exposure to the elements and cleaners found in shampoos.

Regular haircuts will help keep split ends at bay, while making your hair overall healthier. Your stylist may be able to give you pointers on how to keep your hair looking its best as well.

While it’s tempting to use styling tools such as blow dryers and straightening irons, avoid them. This causes damage to your hair, and ultimately makes it frizzier. If you do elect to use styling tools, make sure your hair is protected before applying the heat.

Anti-frizz products have become widely available for the frizzy haired consumer. Many of these really do work! While no product will completely de-frizz your hair, using these in combination with other tricks will help you combat the frizz and get that flowing look you are longing for.

One factor that might be overlooked in contributing to frizzy hair is the water supply. Hard water or chemicals found in the water can make hair that is minimally frizzy very frizzed out. Consider two options; the less expensive is to try a shower head water filter, which will clean chlorine and smells from the water. Many people have reported a big difference in their hair upon changing showers. If your water if harder than a shower filter can clean, a whole house water softener may be a solution that will help not just your hair, but your skin, laundry and more.

Having frizzy hair can be a challenge on some days, but with a little research and experimentation you can find answers that will work for your hair. You might just be amazed to look in the mirror and realize that you have come from frizzy hair to shampoo commercial quality hair with a few simple styling changes.

Enjoy the new look and don’t be afraid to invest some money in your hair. You are worth it!

This article gives you 15 easy tips to follow to help control your Eczema

Tip 1

Moisturized skin is healthy skin and this is especially the case when it comes to those suffering from eczema. However be aware that too much water is a faux pas. For example, soaking in a hot bath for a long period of time can dry out the skin a great deal. It is essential to take short, warm or lukewarm showers and when you take a bath, make the soak a quick one. Also if you are cleaning and must have your hands in and out of water for an extended period of time then wear a pair of rubber or vinyl gloves.Aloe Vera propolis is a very good barrier cream, practically in the winter months

Tip 2

“Everything in moderation” is a saying that is especially appropriate to people with eczema. Too much water on your skin is bad, but dehydration is really bad too. Dry skin areas are at risk, but so are areas with oily skin. Temperature and air humidity also have a negative effect on the condition. So make sure to manage your environment very carefully. Why not try a salt lamp to help clean and calm you environment(www.crystalrocksaltlamp.com) You’ll discover where your trigger areas are and you will learn what your “safe zone” is.

Tip 3

Eczema can very often be triggered because the sufferer is allergic to something. Usually it can be dust mites, pollen, pet hair, air fresheners or something else in your environment. Therefore it is important for an eczema sufferer to make sure that their home environment is as clean and dust free as humanly possible. So once again use a salt lamp to keep the air in your house clean and pure to help your eczema.

Tip 4

It is certainly not an easy thing to do but trying to keep as moderate a temperature as possible in your home and avoiding being outside when it is very humid are two things you should try to do. Keep cool during the summer while at home by using lots of fans or putting in an air conditioner. However keep in mind that air conditioning can be very drying to the skin as it depletes the air of moisture, therefore always use an adequate amount of moisturizer on your skin. The drier air of winter is such because cold air has less of an ability to lock in moisture, Aloe Vera Propolis is ideal as a winter moisturizer and help with dry skin which is more likely to become red and itchy skin during these months, so always use a humidifier during the wintertime to maintain a sufficient level of humidity.

Tip 5

Avoid anything that contains harsh chemical such as products like paint strippers and pesticides. Many ingredients such as astringents, alcohol and a variety of fragrances that are used in cleaners, cosmetics, air fresheners, emollients, tissue, toilet paper, and so on can make eczema go from being mild to moderate or even severe.Forever Living Products have a wonderful all round cleaner that cleans anything from loos to white shirts.Made with aloe vera ( email me at richard@aloeveraexpress.com for more information) It is a good rule of thumb to always read labels before purchasing products for the body, face and/or home environment.

Tip 6

Have you considered that food might be causing your eczema? Coffee, dairy, peanuts and wheat are known allergy triggers, and it could be that a mild allergy to these products could make your eczema worse. If you can not get tested for allergic reactions by your doctor, then the best thing to do is to cut out these risk foods and see if your eczema improves. You can later re-introduce one item at a time a week apart to see which triggers a worsening in your eczema. That way you know what it is that is triggering your eczema.

Tip 7

Breast-feeding prevents eczema in babies. Women who breast-feed their babies are fortunate, as breast milk has been shown to be extremely effective in controlling the onset of eczema. In fact studies have proven that in some babies, six months of breastfeeding can actually prevent eczema from starting in the first place.
New mother who choose not to breast-feed but instead feed their babies a formula made from cows’ milk might do well to consider using a hypoallergenic milk formula such as a soy formula as opposed to a traditional type of formula.

Tip 8

Relax. Think happy thoughts. Focus on the good things in life. The last time you were really happy, what was that like? Stress is a significant contributor to the eczema condition so anything you can do to focus your mind away from it will help you feel better about yourself but can also reduce the eczema in the first place. For me it helps to go for long walks, by the sea as much as possible.

Tip 9

One of the most important tips to controlling eczema is to always make sure the skin is well moisturized. Use a mild soap or cleanser such as Aloe Liquid Soap, which is a rich moisturising hand and face cleanser with a generous amount of aloe. It is a good idea to check with your doctor about what kinds of cleansers are most suitable. Use mild mosturiser like Aloe Moistursing Lotion for your face and body. Very rich in texture and does not contain Lanolin.

Tip 10

After a lukewarm bath, make sure to pat dry the skin and not rub. It is the best way to avoid getting eczema and it is a great way to make sure you do not irritate the skin any further.

Tip 11

Wear loose fitting clothes, ideally pure cotton, as it allows the skin to breathe and is very effective at removing sweat off the skin. Also make sure to wash new clothes before using them to soften the fabric. You can use MPD for washing your clothes. It is a multi purpose concentrated cleaner which does not contain phosphorus. It has environmentally-friendly,mild,gentle formula which is kind to your hands and clothes.( for more information email richard@aloeveraexpress.com)

Tip 12

Here is a tip that has worked wonders for me and many people I know that have had some kind of skin conditions, but it may not work for you. It depends entirely on what triggers eczema for you, but I would always recommend having either an aloe vera plant in the house that you can cut up leaves from and use the gel inside the leaf to soothe the itchy area. We use it for everything that happens to our skin as it acts as both a re-hydrating moisturizer, anti septic cream and barrier cream in one. Strangely enough some people also report a heightened sense of well being after having applied it to their pressure points on the wrists and on the neck. This is with the pure gel. Aloe Vera gelly is a great product and just as effective and can be carried about with you unlike the plant.

Tip 13

It cannot be emphasized enough that the most important self-help tip for those suffering from eczema is to keep the skin well moisturized because well moisturized skin holds in natural moisture much better than dry skin and also encourages healing to take place at a more rapid rate.

Tip 14

Eczema patients need to observe careful bathing rituals so as not to further damage their skin and cause their condition to worsen. The products you buy must be non-scented and not harsh on the skin’s gentle surface whatsoever.Aloe Vera Bath Gelee really comes into its own here.An aloe vera formula that is kind to your skin, a great moisturising bath and shower gel. Forego floral scented or fruity scented soaps and cleansers for no nonsense natural cleansers that get you clean but also keep the moisture in your skin where you want it.

Tip 15

Always make use of a mild kind of soap or cleanser when you clean yourself. An excellent suggestions include Aloe Liquid soap It cannot be stressed enough- never use any products that are full of fragrance. Always choose products that are hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin.

I wanted to write an article that goes beyond the basic tips, tricks and techniques for proper growth of fruits and vegetables. I wanted to share some ideas that can help fellow vegetable gardeners take their love of the hobby to earn a little extra cash which could go a long way to pay for much needed supplies.

I posted a request on our vegetable gardening Facebook fan page for ideas on how other vegetable gardeners use their garden to make some money. Here are some ideas that the fans wrote back with.

Roger Marshall, author of the book How to Build Your Own Greenhouse, recommends growing herbs and produce that are typically out of season. Out of season produce will usually command higher prices from local restaurants and shops. Of course being able to provide enough herbs and vegetables to local restaurants takes enough area to grow everything you need, so if you have a smaller home garden this option may not be for you, but for those that do have ample land, this is definitely a great money maker.

Do you know how to can your vegetables? Jar your jams? Pickle your cucumbers? According to Ellen Christian, a working mom blogger, she suggests that if you posses these skills, it creates a tremendous opportunity to sell fresh grown fruits and vegetables to friends and neighbors.

Tia Meer, of Homegrown Delights, LLC based out of Orlando, FL, uses their 600 square foot garden to sell sprigs or perennial herbs such as rosemary, lavender and lemon grass. Tia also starts all of her vegetables from seed and then sells four inch starter plants of vegetables and herbs for one dollar through three dollars. Her final tip was to get in touch with a local co-op where Tia says she has plenty of success selling her produce through them as it eliminates the need for interaction with customers.

Sure none of theses ideas will make you a millionaire (of course I never said they would), but what they can do is help you with the cost of maintaining the fun hobby of vegetable gardening.

When starting a Master Cleanse or the lemonade diet, there are a few Master Cleanse side effects you have to prepare for. Fatigue, aches, headaches, and exhaustion are the most common, but these can be either eliminated or controlled by following a few simple tips.

Many of us spend hundreds of dollars a month on groceries and don’t even realize it. The other day in the grocery store, someone expressed his concern about the amount of money his family spent on groceries – they averaged $300 a week. That amounts to roughly $1,300 a month on food!

“You’ve gotta eat,” but what if you could save more money on your groceries?

Here are five ways to help you save money on your groceries:
Create a grocery shopping list and stick with it in the store. Planning ahead helps you identify the items you really need. It also keeps you more organized, which should reduce your shopping time. Avoid impulse purchases. An impulse purchase is when you buy something that you did not intend to buy when you went into the store. Sound familiar? Research shows the longer you shop the more money you spend, that’s why planning ahead and using a shopping list helps you get in and out of the store quicker. I know those displays and the big on sale price can be a real draw, but do you really need that? Use coupons. If I expressed the value of a coupon as a math equation, it would be COUPON = FREE MONEY. Coupons really help you save money instantly on your purchases. Some of my favorite places to get coupons are: Newspaper – Sunday newspapers are usually filled with coupons. For additional savings, you may want to consider purchasing a newspaper subscription. Money saved using coupons regularly from the newspaper should more than pay for the subscription. Store – Some stores offer additional savings with their own coupons. You may find them on the store’s website, in weekly store ads or offered through their preferred card program. These coupons have the store’s name printed on them and do not say “manufacturer’s coupon.” In many cases, you can combine the store and manufacturer coupons for greater savings. For example, if you have a manufacturer’s coupon for $1.00 off a particular brand and a store coupon for $1.00 off that same brand of peanuts – then you can use both of them and receive $2.00 off your peanuts. Inside-the-Store – The best place to look for coupons in the store are the weekly store ads or deals paper. You may also find them in the blinkie coupon dispenser placed in grocery aisles, tear pads near an item or directly on the item you are purchasing. Internet – The internet is filled with a lot of coupons. Many stores, manufacturers and coupon specific websites offer printable internet coupons. A few sites to try are: CouponMom.com – offers grocery coupons and information on great deals at the grocery and drugstore on a weekly basis SmartSource.com & RedPlum.com – provides free printable grocery couponsShop smarter.Shop local grocery stores on sales days (if applicable). Some stores offer special sales – Sunday through Wednesday or during holidays. Weekly ads inform you about sale days and any special offers. Check the expiration date of items before purchasing them. Bigger does not always mean the better value. Some stores show you the price/unit calculation, which is very helpful in determining the most value for your money. If your store does not provide this calculation, you can use your calculator to determine the cheapest option. You simply divide the price (e.g. $6.99) by the unit size (e.g. 100 oz.) and the lowest price per unit is the most value. Check to make sure the price you pay is right. Some stores give you the item free – when it rings up wrong. Stock up on sale priced items. If you see rock bottom prices on longer lasting items (e.g. cereal) it is a good idea to stock up and save.

If you snore, you are not alone. Approximately 44 percent of men and 28 percent of women snore. Snoring is disruptive to relationships and it also has health impacts. Lots of those people are looking for ways to stop snoring, which is why devices to control snoring are such big business.

Many people are desperate to stop their snoring, so they jump at the first thing they see or the device with the most hype. Often they end up wasting their money because the product they bought doesn’t work for them. The reason for this is pretty straightforward: not all snoring is the same, so not all devices address the same area.

Before you drop the bucks for some anti-snoring product, you need to understand what is causing you to snore. You could go to a sleep clinic but the cost is not insignificant. You could ask your partner to help you determine why you are snoring. Since you are keeping her awake with your snoring anyway, she’ll probably be more than willing to help, since a solution to your snoring will allow her to get a better night’s sleep.

Do you snore through your mouth? Do you snore through your nose? Do you only snore when you have a cold, allergies, or sinusitis? Do you snore when you sleep on your back but not when you sleep on your stomach? The answers to these questions will help you decide which product or treatment will help you control your snoring.

If you snore through your nose, mouthpieces generally won’t work for you. A better choice might be nasal separators or nasal strips. If you’re snoring because of a cold or allergies, something as simple as a decongestant nose spray or antihistamines might work.

For mouth snoring, mouthpieces could work, but you don’t necessarily need to get the most expensive one right off the bat. An inexpensive “boil and bite” mouthpiece that you soak in hot water and then bite to mold to your jaw will give you an idea if a mouthpiece will work.

A snoring pillow could work. It keeps your head properly aligned and tilted so that your airway doesn’t become constricted while sleeping. Other types of pillows prevent you from sleeping on your back, which will commonly cause snoring.

The bottom line is that you can control snoring. It’s just a matter of first understanding why you snore and then choosing the proper product. You – and your partner – can then look forward to the peaceful, restful nights’ sleep you both need and deserve.
